Turn Everyday Desks Into Individual Workstations
For spelling tests, classroom assessments and mock examinations, the shield offers a fast way to increase privacy between neighbouring desks. There is no permanent installation: place it on the desk, position the side panels and remove it after the session.
For formal public examinations, centres must still follow the current rules of the relevant awarding body and JCQ, including requirements relating to candidate spacing, preventing candidates from seeing one another's work and maintaining clear invigilation. The shield should therefore be treated as an additional screening aid rather than a replacement for those requirements.
